Dr. Alan Kaptanoglu received a B.S. in Physics from Stanford University in 2016 and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Washington in 2021. He joined the Institute for Research in Electronics and Applied Physics (IREAP) at the University of Maryland in 2022. He is currently working on stellarator optimization with Dr. Matt Landreman in the UMD Stellarator Group.
